"Dr Sogliani was not originally booked to do my surgery, but due to a date change I ended up having my surgery performed by him. I will be forever grateful that he spoke to me like a human being and took the time to explain and let me research which valve to go for. The previous surgeon was pushing me to make a choice in our appointment and I agreed to have the mechanical valve.

Dr Sogliani told me that the mechanical valve would make a noise and there is a possibility of being aware of it, which would make my life as a musician very difficult. I was able to make the choice and opted for the bio valve, and am so happy with the results and have a very straight scar which is hardly visible now. He was always considerate and never made me feel I was wasting his time with questions, even after the surgery when I was in intensive care. A truly talented surgeon with respect and kindness in his heart!"
